Trent Lock Golf Centre only opened for the first time in 1991 and was designed by E.W. McCausland, a man who lent his considerable talents to many of the golf courses around England , and Nottinghamshire in particular. Its eighteen holes span approximately 5900 yards from the tee on the first to pin on the last and along the way you will come across plenty of hazards to take on and successfully negotiate your way around if you are to score well and take a scorecard back to the clubhouse worth showing off to your fellowgolfers. There is also a nine-hole, par 36 course for you to tackle if you don't quite feel up to the big one!

The main course here at Trent Lock has two par 5, 5 par 3 and eleven par 4 holes, plus water features and three holes adjacent to the river Trent . A challenging test of golf awaits you whatever your level of skill. Surrounded by rural countryside and river walks, it boasts a challenging 18-hole golf course that measures 5,796 yards in total and a nine-hole course that measures some 2,911 yards.

Trent Lock Golf Centre is conveniently situated between Junction 24 and 25 of the M1 motorway.
